Lots of families worry that they'll feel awkward during a photoshoot, but sessions with me are designed to feel relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish.
We begin by chatting and allowing everyone to settle naturally into the environment. Rather than stiff posing, I gently guide you through movement, games and interactions that create genuine connection.
Children are encouraged to explore, cuddle you, laugh, play and simply be themselves. This approach helps me create authentic images full of personality and love.
My sessions move at a comfortable pace with plenty of flexibility for breaks, snacks and cuddles if needed. I gently guide your family with prompts rather than poses and there is never any pressure for children to perform or to sit still.
Some children are slower to open up and that's ok too. Before your session, you will have the opportunity to tell me some of your child's favourite things and I often use these as a conversation-starter. My husband and I have five children between us and I am also a Cub Scout leader alongside photographing lots of children so I am well used to interacting with children.
My aim is for your session to feel more like quality time together than a formal photoshoot. The result is a gallery filled with meaningful moments and natural storytelling.
