Choosing between lifestyle newborn photography and traditional studio photography often comes down to personal preference.

Lifestyle newborn photography is what I offer. It focuses on natural connection and storytelling. Sessions usually take place in your home, using natural light and relaxed interactions. Babies are unobtrusively photographed in your arms, their Moses basket or your favourite spaces around the house, using your sofa, your bed or the baby's nursery as a backdrop.

Studio photography often involves posed setups, props and carefully styled environments. While these sessions can be beautiful, many people prefer the relaxed and personal feel of lifestyle photography. I will gently guide you with positioning and move myself around to find the best light and angles but you are free to interact with your baby naturally.

Lifestyle sessions are ideal for parents wanting images that reflect real life and genuine emotion. Siblings can move around as they would, parents can cuddle comfortably and the overall atmosphere feels calm and pressure-free.

The goal is not perfection, but preserving the feeling of those early newborn days, the connection, tenderness and tiny details you never want to forget.
